Lache La Femme

Me, in loving memory. *lol* Let's just be bold and honest. Women got paid less in this industry and we have to work twice as hard. To do the work and to prove that we are worthy of the task and the consequences. We struggle to stand up to accusation that when we made a mistake, it is due to us being human, not because we carry womb in our stomach resulting in the reduction of our brain capability in handling big tasks. Men make the same mistakes that we do, thus, we deserve the chances as much as they do. Queen Elizabeth never married. We are, God-made emotional creatures. but that comes in a package, He made us excellent in multi-tasking. Don't worry about our emotion, whatever emotional turmoil befalls us, we'll get the work done.  There's a beginning to everything in this world. The first moment, the earliest experience in life of doing something major can be nerve wrecking to just anyone, men or women, young or old. To a young and inexperienced ...

A Thought or A Note

As I overheard their conversation, re-analyse their jokes, or the remarks they sometimes nonchalantly give in a circumstance I could have never expected, I know now, that there is wisdom in what is made obliged upon us women... which is to cover, what should be covered. ladies, dress decently.

A Rich Girl. Not.

I have never really been a fan of big brands. Mostly because I can't afford it, and, maybe it's due to me being quite a cheapskate when it comes to buying certain things. My impulse buying betrays me sometimes, although most of the times, I'm rather  fussy with my choice, and very often on quality and appearance rather than brands.  However, I rather go for a brand-less or a more affordable brand than using the fake ones, be it handbags, shoes, clothing, electronic devices etc, no matter how close the item resembles the originals. There are plenty of them, all sort of brands, Louie Vuitton, Ferragamo, Chanel, Beats by Dr. Drei (<--- recently found in a shop close to my office) and here in Malaysia, all the fake ones are sold everywhere even in a big supermarket. As per say, I rather wear Asadi than fake Adidas. Or carry a handbag from Nose than a faux Coach. Same goes to Converted Mitsubishi Lancer, which originally was Proton Inspira.  I don't know ...

Obedient Wives Club

The first time I heard about it, I was like... LOL...! now, there's a club for that? ridiculous! anyways, I took that as  a joke, but later realized...woooaaah, these guys are pretty serious. They even made it international yo! haha I wonder what's the main motivation that leads them to this. Educating women to be obedient? Teaching domestic housewife skills including, how-to-treat-your-husband-in-bed by comparing to the first-class-whores? what the..! or just a way of asking some acknowledgement from the male species that we're trying realllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyy hard here to please you.... awwwwwww~  I supposed the club provides them with certificates too... that's what you got after every seminar or skills training, aite? So the next time the husband complains, the wife can pretty much go;  "abang! I taatt, ni ada sijil tau... jangan main2" Godness gracious! they made men seem like such a pervert species on earth.  and don't we have enough ...

Tudung Alien

A friend recently tweet-ed about Yuna new hijab style. Her tweet which I prefer not to quote sounded so intriguing that I ended up searching for Yuna's 'new' look. not that I'm a fan of her... I don't even have any of her songs in my playlist...anyway, upon 'stalking' through her fb fan page, I stumbled on a photo in which she (Yuna) was tagged on. It's Audrey Hepburn photo in a nun's outfit. something like below, (I couldn't find a similar photo) The caption following the photos talks about how most modern hijjab styles are similar to the Jewish and Christian women. It gives out hadiths regarding the forbidden of mimicking them.  Dear readers, how do you feel about this? As for me, I felt a tad sad when I saw that then became quite furious for the 'act'. I rather not use 'ignorance'. Not that I'm one of those hijjab fashionistas... me, still trapped in kampung-square-brooch-ed hijjab. Even wearing selendang always tak jad...

The Hidden Beauty!

I’ve been wanting to write about this for so long. Now that my brain is figuring out some stuffs about design, I’ll write about it… as I said in previous post, I’m a multitasker…hihii Before I proceed, I better clarify that, I’m not writing a fiqh article.. I’m just sharing my thoughts with all the hijabees out there, something based on my observations… Hijabess aren’t really strangers here in Melbourne, you’ll see women with headscarves everywhere. Nevertheless, from my personal experiences, people still question about this piece of fabric wrapping our head… some of the lame questions are like, why do you wear it? Can you ever take it off? Do you wear it at home? Can you wear different colors? How do you get your hair cut? Well, I’m not answering all of those question here… but I’m going to write about something else.. here is the story. I know that scholars differ in the ruling of not wearing hijjab with the non-muslim women… you can ask about it yourself and I’m not compete...

abang, bapa, pakcik, datuk, tokwan sekalian

Hahaa.. Post hari ini bermula dengan sebaris tawa... Sebenarnya tidak indah sangatlah adanya tawa disitu, cuma sekadar... tergeletek hati... Terbaca berita paparan laman The Star bertajuk ' When wives take it out on their hubbies ' ... Jangan ...
